For veterans who want to give back

Become a Vet Uplift Ambassador

Ambassadors are veterans who champion Vet Uplift — spreading the word, welcoming veterans and organizations, helping moderate the community, and running events. If you want to help fellow veterans get connected to the resources they've earned, we'd love to hear from you.

Spread the word

Tell veterans in your network and community about Vet Uplift so more of them find verified housing, benefits, healthcare, employment, legal, and education resources.

Welcome veterans & organizations

Help bring veterans onto the platform and connect veteran-serving organizations who want to reach the people they serve.

Help the community thrive

Support and help moderate the Vet Uplift community and Discord so it stays welcoming, supportive, and on-mission.

Run events

Host or support meetups, resource drives, and online events that get veterans the help they've earned.

Led by our Chief Ambassador

The ambassador program is led by David Tavella, Chief Ambassador. Every ambassador works with David, who helps you get started, supports your efforts, and keeps the team aligned around the mission of helping veterans.

How it works

  1. 1. Apply. Tell us about yourself, your background, and why you want to be an ambassador.
  2. 2. We review. Our team reviews every application and reaches out to talk through next steps.
  3. 3. Get started. Approved ambassadors work with David Tavella to plug in — spreading the word, welcoming people, helping the community, and running events.

Applying does not guarantee a role, and this is not an offer of employment. Vet Uplift is an independent veteran resource directory operated by Mektra LLC — it is not the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or any government agency, and ambassadors do not speak for the VA. Any compensation details would be discussed separately and are not part of this application.
