About Vet Uplift
An independent veteran resource directory covering all 50 states, built and operated by Mektra.ai
Our Mission
Vet Uplift exists to help veterans quickly find reliable, verified support resources. The platform structures publicly available programs from government agencies, nonprofits, and local organizations so veterans can move from "I need help" to a reliable next step quickly.
We focus on clear listings, direct contact details, and a verification signal where we have one, so you can judge whether a resource is worth your time.
Built by Mektra.ai
Vet Uplift is independently developed and operated by Mektra LLC (mektra.ai). Mektra is a technology company that builds tools and platforms to connect people with critical resources.
How Resources Are Verified
Resource data changes constantly. Vet Uplift uses a multi-step verification process:
A listing may still be useful even if it has not been verified. Verification is a signal, not a gate. Always confirm eligibility, hours, and availability with the provider before relying on a listing.
Who It's For
This site is built for veterans, family members and caregivers, and advocates who need a dependable starting point. Many listings are useful even if you are not enrolled in VA care or are unsure about your eligibility.
Veterans looking for housing, healthcare, mental health / SUD support, employment, education, and legal help.
Families and caregivers trying to find the right phone number or office quickly.
Caseworkers and advocates who need a clean index of resources with review/verification context.
