VA Family & Caregiver Benefits for California
Support for California family caregivers of eligible veterans, including the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers, stipends, training, respite care, and caregiver support coordinators.
Eligibility
The Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers is for caregivers of veterans with a VA disability rating of 70% or higher who need at least six months of continuous in-person personal care. The Program of General Caregiver Support Services is open to caregivers of veterans of any era enrolled in VA health care.
