Kentucky’s official homeless veterans program offers rental and utility assistance to veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

  • Veteran Homeless Prevention GrantVeterans of the United States Armed Forces with a general or honorable discharge who meet the listed income limits and have an immediate rent or utility need.
  • Rental, electric, gas, and water assistanceVeterans currently experiencing homelessness or those at risk.

Eligibility

Must be a veteran of the United States Armed Forces and have received a general or honorable discharge. DD-214 form must be provided. Veterans who qualify are eligible for grant funding every 365 days. The fund can only pay for rent, electric, gas, and water up to $750.00 annually.
